Travel Info Looking to move to the Dallas area ...can someone provide information about utilities? Travel Tips Dallas has a bunch of electricity providers. I can think of a couple right off -- TXU and Green Mountain Energy. Different cities have different providers of water, cable, etc., so you'd need to contact the city you're looking to move to. Each major city in the Dallas area has its own Web site. You could go to the site of the city you're looking to move to and get more information. I can tell you that electricity bills rose in the summer, and there were plenty of complaints from consumers. Thank goodness summer's just about over. The area's also been in a drought for some time, so many cities have restricted water use.
