In what state is the Indian carved in the mountain? |
Travel Info I remembered seeing a carving in a mountain side. Some what like the presidents in mount rushmore. I am traveling and cannot find any info onthis carving. Travel Tips Correct, it is in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is the Crazy Horse Memorial. Others South Dakota Like the Presidents, it is also South Dakota. It is not far from Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. It is called Thunderhead Mountain and they are carving Crazy Horse mounted on his horse. It is pretty awesome and will take years to finish. been there twice to view also has a wonderful museum You might be thinking about Crazy Horse Memorial.
