Travel Tips Aside from all the other lame places most people named we have the Dallas Arboretum, the Dallas Museum of Art, Deep Ellum, if you're a little on the wild side, the West End is pretty empty now. For shopping I would say the Galleria, downtown and the boutiques in the West Village on McKinney Ave, for some upscale fun, stay at the W or Hotel Zsa Zsa and party at the Ghost Bar. The Fort Worth Zoo is awesome. Historic downtown is gorgeous. There are so many things to do here you just have to be in the know and read up on everything. There is something here for everyone. Others yes i live in dallas it is the best city in texas....there is the best shopping in texas!!!! and if you decide to come down in about 8 months than you will beable to stay at the ritz carlton in dallas!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps. Although Dallas is a great city its not known for its tourist sights. Just about the only things in the area to see are the plaza where JFK was assasinated (there is a museum featuring that event) and the Ranch were the TV show "Dallas" was filmed. Been to the Book Depository in Dallas... it contains a museum about JFK. Great mall in Dallas...just cant remember the name of it..it has an ice skating rink in it I love Dallas. I go there at least once a year. Deep Ellem is a good place to visit also the Westend, the Book Depository, where JFK was sadly killed. Many others to. crime,crime,crime,dallas was nice 20 years ago,no more |
