Travel Info Is the Omni theatre in Fort Worth, TX an IMAX theatre or is it different? Travel Tips The Omni Theater at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is an IMAX theater. The Omni is different in that it is designed in such a way that the engineering and design is made visible to the spectator. It is sort of an IMAX with a kind of see through skin. I also believe that years and years ago it was called the Omnimax. Source(s): Worked at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History several years ago and have seen several films at the Omni. Other Travel Tips Listen i live in El Paso, TX that is next to fort worth and that theater is like i-max but even better yeah. There's also an IMAX at Fair Park in Dallas; where the Cotton Bowl is located. In the Science Museum. It's great. Kinda near downtown, but totally safe. |
