Travel Info Does anyone know of good places to look at christmas lights in the Dallas area other than the house in Frisco? Travel Tips The hottest spot in Dallas for Christmas lights is in Highland Park in the streets just south of Mockingbird, between Hillcrest and Preston. They offer carriage rides down there, and there is a steady stream of traffic during December. The homes there are mansions and some of the lighting is amazing! Others I used to live in Dallas, and what we would do is rent a limo for the night, if you get enough people than it's not too expensive and just tell them that you want to see Christmas lights and they will drive you around. They know where the good lights are. It's a really fun thing to do with family or friends. They usually have drinks (soda and champagne) in the limo and you can bring your own food. The Interlochen in Arlington. It's on Bowen Rd. Also Tyler has a great drive through park out in the woods. Try Highland Park Deerfield in Plano. I live in Highland Park and the lights there are spectacular. If you go to the inersection of Lovers and Preston and head East on Lovers you will see a little street called Hunters Glenn. Take the turn onto Hunters Glenn and there are some good light all around there in Highland Park. Pretty much anywhere in the Park Cities will have good lights. |
