Awesome music and especially theater in Dallas, inside nightclubs and out. Also as we get into the Spring there is a great arts or music festival somewhere around the city almost every weekend. Usually we have "dueling events" going on. The Dallas Symphony is also quite good and sometimes great. (Anybody got tickets to the Rachmaninoff Concerto concert they want to give away?). Also the Dallas Art Museum has "late nights with jazz" I think on Thursday. The Dallas summer musicals is putting on the best line up of plays in years and years. Circque du Soliel is coming to town . . . and so on and so on. There are dog shows and cat shows and boat shows and outdoor shows. And how about sporting events? Not only do we have a major league team in each major sport, we have college teams at Division I, II and III levels in the area. You can watch polo, go to horse shows, go to the rodeo. And, there are multiple opportunities to volunteer for charities, walk in walks, run in races. If you are bored here, you are not looking in the right places!!! |
