Dallas/Fort Worth neighborhoods?

Can someone go over the Dallas/Fort Worth nieghbors for me? Which ones are good, which are high in crime? Where real estate is most expensive. A map would be nice too and some links. Thanks

Recently, I spent about a month in Dallas on business, and I was very impressed with the north end of Dallas, mainly the Richardson, Plano and Frisco area. Seemed very clean and safe as compared to some of the other parts of Dallas. Great shopping and dining were everywhere. The areas around Frisco are practically exploding with new houses and developments, but also we found some really affordable and decent neighborhoods just 20 minutes south of Frisco around Plano and Richardson. The cost of living there is Dallas seems to be about half or better than the last 3 places I've lived (San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle), but then again there's no mountains and no ocean, so I would expect it to be cheaper for that reason alone.

If my company were to send me there permanently, I wouldn't be too upset. I could easily buy twice the house for what I paid for mine in Seattle.

The southwest part of Fort Worth is a pretty calm neighborhood.
Honey, these are two cities with about 2 million people and hundreds of neighborhoods. If you are considering moving to the area I would recommend you contact three or four real estate agents who specialize in different areas of these cities.

Real estate is most expensive in the Dallas Park Cities area.
