I need middle and high school advice in Frisco, Texas? |
Travel Info We are looking to move out of Florida and am considering Frisco Texas. My Ten year loves soccer and I want good schools and convenience. Any advice?? Travel Tips We also moved from Florida to Frisco Texas. We lived in Orlando ,Deltona and Winter Springs My husband lived in St Pete,Pinnelas Park areas. We moved to Frisco after Charley,Frances and Jean hit in 2004. We have NO family here and did alot of reasearch before we came. Let me tell you this is THE BEST place we could have chosen to live with our kids. My son will be starting Elementary school this coming Fall hes involved in Frisco City sports program(soccer) and Karate. This is a great family friendly place.TONS of sports,A+ rated schools EVERYWHERE in frisco (you wont find a low rated school) It is a VERY convient place to live tons of shopping and activities. The only thing we miss is of course the BEACH.I have also lived in the SF ca area but overall very happy we chose to live here with our children.I really would tell you from experience its a good place to live. I do have to say you will spend more money out here since there is alot more to do. Houses are generally much cheaper then FLorida too, but I think we have spent at least 5-10K more per year living her with all the shopping ect.If y ou have any questions email me Best of Luck!! Source(s): MOVED FROM FLORIDA Other Travel Tips Frisco is the best place in Texas to live! I lived there a few years ago, and wish I never left. The town experienced an economic boom about seven years ago, and went from 3000 people to 100,000 overnight, becoming the fasting growing city in the country. Good schools that are not huge, great parks, investment in public places like the minor league ball park and the FC Dallas stadium. North Texas is a soccer hotbed and you need to get your son here SOON in order to get to know the different soccer clubs and have a chance to make a select club team. Recreational soccer is NOT where it's at here (be prepared to spend about $2K a year). http://forums.turfmonster.com/category-v... |
