Travel Tips Currently the Dallas North Tollway is under construction to expand into Grayson County currently the tollway cuts of just north of 121 in Frisco. There's a big tree in the middle of a pasture, and after that a house with a screen porch. Put it in four wheel drive on that road or you get stuck by the cactus bushes and it's hell to git out and push right about there. That should get you there, unless the road's washed out. In that case, you have to take the bottom road. Initial planning is under way for a proposed extension of the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) from US 380 north to the Grayson County line. The length of this extension is approximately 13.5 miles. A scope of work is currently under development, which includes corridor analysis, initial toll feasibility and environmental analysis. To date, no financial commitments have been made on this project. Currently, efforts are under way with Collin County to provide a two-lane county road in the proposed tollway extension corridor from US 380 to FM 428 near Celina.
