Travel Info Where are some cool, trendy restuarants, clubs, or lounges to visit? Also, my friend lives in Addison so any suggestions in that area would be great as well! I am twenty six years old. Travel Tips Addison is great, and you should go to Pete's Piano Bar and other local landmarks up there--but if you want "trendy" you should head to Uptown or Downtown Dallas. Downtown has some cool lounges/clubs like O Bar, Fuse, etc (though I don't really go "clubbing" so I'm not the best source on all that). The downtown scene is very "cool" but also kind of shady/dirty in my opinion. I generally go out Uptown where it's more upscale. Skybar at the W is uber-trendy--go mid week during happy hour and avoid the weekend lines. Lounges like Candleroom and Sense and MeDici are popular, as always. I usually like to go to regular bars/restaraunts though (where people are slightly more down to earth and marginally less likely to be high on drugs and/or showing off their new Ferrari). Anywhere up and down McKinney avenue is always fun, and you should check out Greenville avenue at some point too. Just cruise up Beltline Road or Addison Road, and you will find plenty of things to do when the sun goes down. |
