Someone at the Fort Worth Architecture Forum might know when it was built. Edit: There is an MLK communtiy center in FW despite what the last answerer claims. There is also MLK Freeway (HIghway 287) which used to be called the Poly Freeway since it cuts through the Poly area of southeast FW.The Martin Luther King center is in Atlanta. Georgia. Established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King, The King Center is the official, living memorial dedicated to the advancement of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., leader of America鈥檚 greatest nonviolent movement for justice, equality and peace. the MLK Center is in another state. The only think close to Fort Worth with MLK in it is the MLK day parade and MLK Blvd in DALLAS! Lived here since 1975 |
