Travel Info In mind ( like West village ), is there problems keeping a car in Dallas ? Do most places have good parking ? or does someone have to pay for parking if they attend an event somewhere? Travel Tips I don't know about living in the West Village if you have to pay for parking, but to visit you don't have to. Most places are free (ie Mockingbird station, Knox-Henderson area, etc) to park untill you get into downtown, and then every parking lot is pay. For the most part to attend an event anywhere you have to pay for parking. But if you live in the West Village, you could probably take DART (the train system) to most the American Airlines Center (which is where most concerts, events, and games are) or at other places the parking is reasonable. Just depends where you want to go, but if you live near a DART station, you could get most everywhere that way and save on gas. Others I live in Dallas and there are no more problems with kepping a car than in any other place I've been to and I've been to a lot of places. Parking depends on where in Dallas you want to live but it's generally not bad. As for paying to park, it really depends on the event. Usually paying to park is not a problem, but it would probably be a good idea to be ready just in case there is a need for it. |
