Best family campsite in North Texas? Anyone have any tips? |
Travel Info My husband, myself, and some close friend want to take our 5 year old daughters camping before they start school. We live in North Teaxas and don't want to go to far. Does anyone have any good spots to tell me about? Travel Tips Tyler State Park is great. As the others have said Tyler, Ray Roberts North of Dallas is good, Hickory Creek(lake lewisville) has some good spots. I've got a few pictures from parks at this link http://community.webshots.com/user/pecos... Tyler state park is good. Go farther east and there is Daingerfield State Park, on state highway 49. |
