Is Texas a nice state to live in? |
Travel Info Is Texas a nice state to live in? Travel Tips Yes it is, but like the others have said it's all depends on which town and we all have our different opinions...I grew up in Dallas and all I ever heard was how bad Houston was, was transfered to Houston and Loved it, moved back to Dallas and can't wait to move away. I'm a big fan of West Texas and small towns like Alpine/Fort Davis/Marfa, very small though and I also like the East Texas area around Tyler. No State Tax, but everything else is getting out of hand, Insurance/Electric Costs are Very high compaired to the other states around Texas. Others Yes. It's nice and friendly here. it all depends where in tx u want to live i like amarillo, lubbock, and corpus, i really didnt like abaline or houston. so just depends. Depends where you at, but Dallas/Fort Worth area and Wichita Falls is okay (Wichita Falls have a lot of old and nice people) ME!...I lived in both areas so I know! That depends on whether you are Texan or not to get the true answer you seek. I would NEVER live in any other state. Texas is a very unique state, and has mostly very friendly people. A few nice areas are New Braunfels, Austin area, Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Angelo, San Marcus, Corpus Christi, and Port Aransas (actually any valley town). |
