How far apart are Grand Prairie,TX and Richardson,Tx?

i plan on attending college in Richardson but moving to GP. Smart move or not?

It would be better to move to Plano or McKinney, but either way the traffic in the evening is terrible.
Grand Prarie and Richardson are not really far apart, there's just too much traffic between them.

Not a good move. Traffic between the two locations is a nightmare. You are going from South to North and from West to East.

And no public transporation whatsoever. You could probably rent a small studio around UTD or one of their on-campus apartments for less than the gas will cost you from GP.
That is too far, during normal conditions it's only about a 30 minute drive, but during rush hour, travel time will be at least an hour if not longer. You should be able to find many student apartments on or near campus.
Don't do it. The gas cost will kill you, I commute from GP to North Dallas twice a day and spend at least a hundred a week, either go to a school closer to GP such as UTA or the Tarrant County Community College, or move into Richardson itself or far north dallas.
bad...very bad... lol thats too long of a commute i got a headache thinkin about it. You need to either find you a place in plano, allen, richardson, or far north dallas. GP is on the otherside of dallas near OC and Richardson is no where near that lol.... and GP is long drive with or w/o traffic. If you still want to move to GP then go to UT Arlington....problem solved.
