Travel Info I'm new to Dallas, what are some things to do and see here together with my wife? Travel Tips The Dallas Arboretum is gorgeous, you should definitely go this time of year... you just missed "Dallas Blooms" when all the tulips, etc were in full bloom and they have lots of activities going on but there's always next year! The Dallas Zoo is wonderful, of course, but the Fort Worth Zoo, which isn't far, is absolutely one of my favorites. The Sixith floor museum honoring JFK is another must see. Others Museums ! others ! i wish u to be blessed ..you and your wife !!! bye ! Below is the Visitor's Guide for Dallas/Fort Worth from the Dallas Morning News. http://www.guidelive.com/portal/page?_pa... A lot of it depends on what you are into. The museums are good, there's a lot of good theater. I recommend a trip out to Arlington to go to Trader's Village, it's a giant flea market and is mind boggling. Forth Worth...head over the Stockyards! Arlington area has Six Flags Over Texas, Wax Museum, Trader's Village. Dallas has great Museums! San Antonio is a great weekend trip....see the Alamo and Riverwalk! You can always go try some of the great restaurants around here in Dallas, and explore the different areas of Dallas (such as Downtown, Oak Lawn, Uptown, Deep Ellum, Good Latimer, North Dallas, etc.). Additionally, as others have mentioned, Dallas is home to great museums and also various other attractions. You can also visit Fort Worth to see the Stockyards, as well as the Fort Worth Zoo (which is better than the Dallas Zoo). |
