Shopping in Dallas, TX? |
Travel Info Where are the best places to shop in Dallas? Travel Tips If you're shopping for clothes, accessories, and cosmetics, I'd definately recommend North Park Mall! No matter your budget you can find what you're looking for here! They also have some great novelty stores and children's stores. Check out the website! www.northparkcenter.com Also, if you like vintage clothing, Dallas has a number of great shops! http://local.yahoo.com/results?fr=dd-loc... Others It depends on what you're looking for. Dallas is known for Neiman Marcus, if you're looking for upscale shopping. Another Dallas favorite is Sam Moon, a ladies purse/accessory/luggage shop. Any woman can spend HOURS in there!! Also, the shopping area in Frisco (Preston Rd. and 121) is pretty good as well... all new shops for miles! Be sure to check out the Galleria as well... that's another favorite! Depends on your taste, if you're the designer girl, then NorthPark is the answer. If you want some small shops you can always try West Village. Galleria and Northpark Malls Don't listen to the first answer. They didn't even name the correct town. McKinney has NO shopping. The Preston/SH 121 area is Plano and Frisco. The Stonebriar Mall is at the corner there as well as Sam Moon. The largest mall in Dallas, The Galleria, is along the Dallas North Tollway and IH 635 in Dallas. There is also The Shops at Willowbend at Park Blvd. and Dallas North Tollway. If you are looking for upscale, stick with The Galleria, you can't go wrong. Kidd is right about McKinney, and it's about 30 miles north of the center of Dallas. There is a mall at Plano, between Dallas and McKinney, and there is Town East mall at Mesquite, near I-635, but the best mall is near the west end of I-635, Grapevine Mills Mall on Hwy. 121. The Galleria isn't bad, but now that they've re-done Northpark Mall, I think it's so much better than the Galleria. Northpark has a lot of really cool stores and I can't imagine that you would be disappointed by visiting it. Plus you can always stop for a lunch break at PF Changs in Northpark or head right across the street to The Cheesecake Factory. The Shops at Willow Bend are nice, but honestly if you go to Northpark and the Galleria, most of the stores in Willow Bend will be duplicates. Have fun ... |
