How far is it to DFW Airport from Love Field Airport? |
Travel Info We couldn't find cheap flights to Dallas that took us to DFW Airport. We found cheap flight to Love Field though. But we are staying at the Marriot by DFW. Travel Tips It's not TOO far.... maybe 30 minutes or so. Honestly, I would recommend switching hotels, unless you have some pertinent reason why you're staying near DFW. There's not too much out there. Love Field is right in the center of town (Addison) and there's tons of shopping etc. all around there without having to drive clear across Dallas to get there. I used to work near that Marriot on the North side of the airport and I can tell you that a cab ride to it will be about $50. It's your choice, but I would either recommend taking the DFW flight since there is free transportation with it.... or switching hotels. As far as nothing to do in the area of DFW, there are things to do just west of that in Grapevine, nice little town :) and I'm sure the Marriot shuttle will take you wherever you want to go (shopping, food, sight seeing), I know my hotel's shuttle did I'd fly into Love Field, and stay at a hotel in the Park Cities area. That way you'll still be close to downtown, but you won't have to pay the high hotel prices. And they are plenty thing to do in Park Cities Area. 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. An hour if you go at rush hour. |
