How can I get in Suite in Dallas? |
Travel Info Has anyone heard of the club Suite in Dallas? It's in the Knox-Henderson area on Travis Street. I want to go this weekend, but I heard the door is really strict. How do you get in or make reservations? I know they are less strict on girls, but how can I get a guy in? I don't know anyone that works there. Travel Tips I've been to Suite before and although I don't recommend the place, the best way to get in is to show up early. They don't restrict the door at early times. It's the busy times (After 9:30pm) that they begin making restrictions. And as far as the females are concerned, they restrict them as well. No bar/club in Dallas should have a strict door. There aren't any bars there that would warrant it other than Ghost Bar and it's not even one of a kind. I don't give them my money. Others Have you heard the saying... "It's not what you own, but who you know!"... As the person above said, if you arrive very early (with your best designer clothing) you "might" make it in. The thing about Suite unlike other upscale clubs, they don't have a membership for sale. Somehow, somewhere, there's a list of exquisite people that have access to the club and those peeps are the ones that get you on the list to go in. I've been twice with a friend, who knows two people with access to the club, otherwise I would have never gotten in. While we were waiting in line (for about 30 minutes) a guy and his girl pulled up to the valet with a Lamborghini Gallardo thinking he could just skip and get in... nope, they stood there the whole time looking for a miracle to happen. We got in and they were still there... an hour later I saw them getting some drinks... So yeah, unlike Ghostbar or any other club, Suite is "the" place to be and to be seen at; just different class of people who want to keep us (the rif-raf) out... =O) ... Good look in getting in, but I would have a plan-b just in case. P.S. And yes, although it's not fair to have restricted entry, sometimes that's what people pay for... |
