Travel Info Has anyone seen the body world exhibit? Travel Tips Yes I have. It is very educational. I learned a lot from going to see it. I highly recommend everyone to see it while it is still here. Some of my students went last weekend and they said they really liked it too. It is a great exhibit! Others Yea, and if you smoke before you see it, you won't after it. Amazing stuff. Check out the lungs. Yes. Go to the iMax of the human body first, it's good. Don't look at the Wing Man too long -- he's scary. They don't seem like people but some of them are kind of creepy. The fetus/pregant lady room is emotional, at least it was for me. Some of it seems like Mr. Van Hagen took a few too many artistic liberties but mostly it's respectful. Don't take children that you don't want exposed to male and female nudity. Yes!!! Go before it closes!!! It is VERY interesting. Alot of people seem to think it would be morbid, but it isn't. It is very educational and tastefully done. I thought the IMAX movie was the best part. The actual bodies would have been neat, but there were so many people in there, that I couldn't get a good look at any of them. People are grouped by time and only a certain number are allowed to enter every 15 minutes--but it was still way too many. I thought one of the coolest things was the horse body w/ the human rider--very interesting! Yes, it is incredible, and make sure you see the IMAX show too. ick it was okay but if your a girly girl i wouldnt go it smells pretty bad but it is very educational see the imax show too |
