There are many, many nice areas to shoot out in the area. Here are a few.

Gaylord in Grapevine is nice.
Ft. Worth Botanical gardens
Water gardens in Ft. Worth
Dallas Arboretum
Steers near the Federal building in Dallas
Southlake Square is ok
Tour 18 up in Flower Mound
Grapevine Golf course (right near the Gaylord) is right on the lake and is pretty good too.

The Trammell Crowe Building down town Dallas has great statues out side. Grapevine lake out near Kattie Woods-park. Dallas Arboretum.
