Who can tell me a thing or two about De Soto Texas? |
Travel Info I am being re-assigned to the Dallas area. Is there anyone out there who can tell me about how much does a 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment rents for? What does De Soto have to offer? How are the public schools out there? What attractions are there? Thank you for your time, NJ Travel Tips De Soto is south of Dallas, out aways. I know someone who lives there and is pretty happy. It's not as nice as the Northern Dallas suburbs, but the prices are pretty cheap. The Love Field airport is nearby. It's close to Joe Pool lake and Cedar Hill State Park. About less than an hour away in Arlington is Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, Rangers Baseball park, the future Football stadium. Fort Worth has the rodeo and stockyards and the Japanese gardens. I agree with the previous poster - get an apt for 6mo lease only to get a feel for the area. There are some parts that are kind of run-down. I don't care for it but maybe you will enjoy but if not move to another area and just work there so get a 6 month lease on an apt. then decide It is spread out and open. Good and Bad neighborhoods.
