Travel Info People in Dallas Texas do you complain about the heat in the summer? Travel Tips As long as I have air conditioning, I don't complain too much. Others rarely! my first summer here was 1980, seems like about half the year we had highs over 100.....nothing has got quite that extreme since. I do complain about my electric bill for air conditioning, though. typically no, but lots of other people do. unless it gets to be more than like 105, then its all loose on the whinin Sure we do. But you just have to live with it. I do that by avoiding it as much as possible. I make it a rule to not go outside if the official temperature reading is over 100 degrees. Yes we do! Just as Silentnonrev, I moved here in 1980 too. From Colorado. The first few years, (I was very young), I remember it being horrible. But now as the others have said, I only complain about the AC bill. And of course all my friends seem to want to move in August. And ask for my help. Its not the heat, its the humidity that will kill ya! ;D |
