Where are some haunted or sppoky areas in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex of Texas ? |
Travel Info To celebrate our 20th anniversary, my spouse and I wish to visit some of these places with some of the ghost-hunting stuff, like the voice recorders. We live in the city of Irving, but we could take a day trip to several places in the area. Travel Tips If you drive down to Crawford, you could see President Bush's ranch. Scary!!!! After traveling around the US I found out that urban legend exists in every city. Back in the day it used to be rumored that Flag Pole Hill over by White Rock Lake was where the devil worshipers went. The old Parkland Hospital always gave me the creeps just from looking at it. Some nice, haunted hotels so you can celebrate appropriately: The Stoneleigh Hotel 2927 Maple Ave (although I think this one is being converted into expensive condos...) The Adolphus Hotel 1321 Commerce St The rest: Flagpole Hill 8100 Doran Cir, Dallas, TX. I know several people who have had experiences there, go at dusk and you might get stuff thrown at your car. Snuffer's 3526 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX Old City Park Supposedly btwn Spring Valley & Beltline on Preston you can see a group of people in early 1900s dress Old Parkland Hospital Sammons Art Center The Conspiracy Museum 6th Floor Museum Most of the older cemetaries: Uptown Cemetary, Freedman's Slave Cemetery, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Alverado Cemetary, Emanu-EL Jewish Cemetery, and Greenwood Protestant Cemetery.
