What is there to do in Dallas texas?

I'll be arriving on Monday June25. I'm traveling with my wife and 2 boys ages 13 and 11. We'll be departing on June 28. We're going to Six Flags Over Texas 1 day so I've got 2 more days to fill up. The hotel pool can only entertain so long.

Travel Tips

You can go to a Texas Rangers game. It is near Six Flags. Then there is shopping too. Dallas has an endless number of malls.....Galleria, Grapevine Mills Mall, Vista Ridge.....Downtown is cool. Dallas has a nice botanical garden. Source(s): http://www.dallascvb.com/visitors/...
Other Travel Tips

JFK Museum
Dallas Zoo is great, Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor museum about JFK is very interesting and you can walk around the West End, loads of street side cafes etc or take a short drive over to Fort Worth and visit the Stockyards. Also near Lone Star Park, there is a Ripleys Musuem.
Dallas is a great place with loads to do.
West End is a cool area (near the JFK museum). Also you can go sightseeing at the top of the Ball (a rotating restaurant/observation tower). If they are in town, a Rangers game is a good time.
check brochures for sure. i reccomend making a treck over to the ft. worth zoo. (it's not too far down the interstate, considering the cities really are just one mass of streets and buildings anyways. where does one end and another begin, i've no idea) the ft. worth zoo is amazing. there is this exhibit called the texas wild that focuses totally on what lives in texas. sure, you may have a teenage and pre-teen boy, but when my brother was that age he enjoyed it very much! and i agree with what "lisa m" said. the stockyards are really fun to go to. (just remember, anywhere you go outside, take plenty of water, this is dallas, it's not the plains. it's really humid and hot in the summer)
