Why dos every one thinks dallas is so great? |
Travel Info I would rather go to austin a much nicer city with people that respect each other. when I look a question about dallas and every one wants to move hear. I dont understaind I hate this city theres aways construstion no public trasportaion. apartments are getting high. theres little parks. I live in denton and Im glad I don't live there Travel Tips Easy answer, they are brain washed. Others Never been there and have no desire to go. Maybe people are still looking for JR Ewing. We're glad you live in Denton too because you don't know the difference between "hear" and "here". We would make fun of you if you moved hear. So stay their in Denton. dallas is not as friendly as ft. worth. alot of people in dallas are not even from there. they cant drive either. I like most of texas. denton is ok. I think I 35 thru austin is a rat race no loop around town just upper and lower level and its crazy. there is always construction in dallas because its a major hub for everything. thats my 2 cents. Everything is in Dallas, Major Corporations, etc etc. There are nice parks around, maybe you haven't been to the right places. There is public transportation, buses, rail (metro, whatever you want to call it) You have to a fast pace type of person to live in Dallas, if you are not you'll get frustrated quite easily. Plus there are so many things to do, from professional sports, great concerts, excellent dinning, museums, etc. You gotta be some boring person if you don't like Dallas. I will agree that austin i s quite a nice place as far as being laid back and seeing creative things or being able to do more out doorsy things , however, austin is more expensive than dallas. I lived in dallas almost my whole life and moved to Illinois and I must say ... I miss dallas... i miss vacationing in austin too!! you can have atot of fun there. |
