First Monday is a flea market. Happens on the first weekend of the month. Lots of new restaraunts in Weatherford and a movie theatre. Also, lots of place to shop. Close by Weatherford is Granbury. Lots to do there. Check out http://www.granburylive.com/index.html.... There is a lake to fish and lots of shopping. Also, the Granbury Opera House. Other Travel Tips

Check out the Pizza Place, it's on the main road. Just a mile or so north of the freeway on the west side of the road. It's been awhile but I love that place. A good friend of mine worked there for years.
i have some friends living there. same things to do there as any other small town. there are a few good fun bars/resturaunts to go to but not much going on for tourist
i think ther ei s first sunday or monday flea market there. If you drive just a little further to mmineral wells there is a state park and they have canoeing, a beach, camping, rock climbing and row boating .. the canoeing is nice cause it is not a big lake and you can canoe to the end into this river portion that is covered by a canopy of trees and it is pretty, I also think there is a huge victorian mansion just on the outskirts of the main town square that is a bed and breakfast... you cannot miss it!! Have fun!
Well, there's some stuff to do. But not much, fishing.
