i think you have to go to the dmv (txdot).
go to the ntta.org website to change it. you need to do it before you get on the tollway again, or you could get a violation
As was mentioned, just go to NTTA.ORG

As long as you have an active toll tag it will be read and your account will be charged. I know some people who move tags between vehicles. NTTA doesn't like it because I think it messes with their record keeping but I doubt there is any legal violation involved. Go ahead and update your account online, it's pretty quick and easy.
