Im not black, but I have been to Maxwells in Addison and it is a great place to go. Maxwell's is an Upscale Restaurant and Club for the mature guest with an eclectic menu from Cajun to Seafood Soulfood. It's predominately black guests and club goers.

I don't know about "black" but the Ghostbar at the W hotel is really nice, most bars in the Knox-Henderson area, and I hear the Glass Cactus at the Gaylord texan in Grapevine is pretty nice as well. Hope that helps!
