Travel Info Is there flooding in Mckinney Texas? Any homes damaged? Travel Tips As far as I remember, McKinney escaped the damage this time around. A few surface streets may have stalled out a car or two at low-lying sections, but no homes were damaged. The main area of devastation was to the north and northwest, in places like Sherman (closer to the Oklahoma border). I also have relatives in Sherman and Gainesville and their houses weren't flooded, but those towns probably got the worst flood than they have had in over 50 years. |
