What to do, with the kids, in rainy Dallas, tomorrow.? |
Travel Info My husband and the kids like to do things on Fridays together. They WERE going to go to Six Flags, but it's been raining too much. Do you have any fun ideas???? Please help........ we don't know what there is to do around here!!! Oh --- the kids are 16, 14, and 12. Travel Tips Easy enough... Rent some movies or buy some board games. Keep it cheap, keep it family! Others You can make it a movie or an inside crafts day. Since they are older they might like a new video game. What about a museum? It's not that expensive- the kids can get in for student price. There's the Museum of Nature and Science in Fair Park. That's always fun. The IMAX is really cool to watch. Plus, they have a planetarium. http://www.natureandscience.org/... The Kimball Art Museum in Ft. Worth has a really interesting exhibit right now called "The Mirror and the Mask." http://www.kimbellart.org/ And then there is always Nasher Sculpture museum and the Dallas Museum of Art downtown. Or they could go downtown to the main library and do genealogy charts. I remember being interested in that when I was their ages. Hope that gives you some ideas!
