Guys, how can i have a tour in delhi without spending money? |
Travel Info i know it's impossible but im keeping my hopes. please help. Travel Tips Visit all places of tourist interest in Delhi on your computer by logging onto Delhi government website. But you still have to pay for surfing and also electricity consumed by your computer. Others It's actually really tough to go around New Delhi without spending money and without a proper tour guide. There are a lot of beggar children and other beggars who will not stop to harrass you for money. You may feel harrassed and pressured and ultimately frustrated. Try to get a tour guide from the hotel you're staying.. They will highly recommend one and it is also safer as the tour guide usually speaks good English and the beggars may avoid you if they see you with a local guide. You need to spend money because the only way to eat food safely is to have your meals in the hotel restaurants. You definitely would not want to have your meals along the roadside or in the small restaurants along the road. Bottled water is preferably bought in hotel restaurants. You also need to spend money to tip the tour guides if they do a good job as tipping is their other source of income other than the pay which is rather low. Good Luck. I went to the Golden Triangle (New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur), including the Taj Mahal with a proper tour guide accompanying us throughout our trip. They speak good English and know their history well. I had a very good time and was really impressed through the whole trip. if you find out, please let me know.. i'll be there in a month. Stay in a cheap hotel. There are quite a few in Pahargunj. Take a tour bus - they come pretty cheap. unfinisheddreams.blogspot.com well if u dont care about privacy then its possible. u can find a Gurudawra. there ur food and stay will be free. and its safe too but no privacy, but u will have to spend money for ur fare ....but if u dont want to then u can walk too... |
