If I want to hire an accountant or someone to be an office manager (dealing with different types of tasks like scheduling drivers, transportation, keeping track of payments/receipts) how much would it cost per month. And would need to be fluent in English.

In Delhi, around 20 thousand rupees (429.590 USD
) per month would be enough for a candidate with the following requirements:

1. Good English speaking and writing skills
2. A bachelors degree in commerce preferably with an MBA
3. Two to three years of experience in office administration and basic accountancy

Others
if they need to be fluent in english then try hiring an AMERICAN. $500/month is a lot of money in India, but you get what you pay for.
This would depend on the level of experience of the person that you would hire, but generally you would play them Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month

Don't worry about the English part, almost everyone in India speaks excellent English
Rs.15k to Rs.20k per month for a person with just adequate education and experience and workable English for the activities mentioned by you.

But if you want a person with strong communication skills, basic knowledge of computer operations, able to work extra hours, able to travel, 5-10 years experience, independent etc, the remuneration would be about Rs.30k per month.

The above are as per the standards of a good/reputed Indian company. But, these days, with the arrival of so many multinational companies, the renumeration per month begins with as high as Rs.40k (for second category).
