Do indians really worship monkeys,trees,elephants and objects? |
Travel Info i'm currently in india and i've seen the most shocking things....i saw people worshiping a man with a monkey's face!hahaha...i know it sounds crazy but its true.so tell me is it true? Travel Tips yes, i am indian. people worship the qualities represented by these objects, not the objects themeselves, its can look stupid to people who do not know what is going on. the monkeys face guy is hanuman. it represents courage. theres a whole bunch of symbolism and mythology behind it that i wont go into, but understand its just a diffrent way of trying to be a better and well rounded person which all religons are, its just appears diffrent on the outsid but if you understood the more fundamental concepts of the religion you would see the message is the same as any other major religion which is love, peace, and non violence Others I've heard Hindu's have hundreds of Gods... but they're based off only a few Gods... I've seen wierder stuff. yes we do.... any problem with that.... no they where put on this earth differently then us though I believe we call them "Native Americans". Classified Information think u r laughing at something u dont know and thats not right..u r making fun of someone else's belief..know ur facts before u form an opinion. |
