Others Depending on the type of accom you are looking for. If you want to get cheap basic accom with a burst of life, head down to Parhar Ganj. Rooms are readily available and there is plenty to buy. Check out the Red Fort, Hannamans Tomb. Watch a bollywood film, find yourself a nice masala dosa and wash it down with a chai or lassi. Try to get up early to see the locals wake up around you. I still recall vividly my first trip to this part of Delhi and seeing things I had never seen before. People washing there clothes, bathing, sleeping, herding animals, setting up stalls. Something you won't ever forget, that is for certain. |
