Travel Info im an indian ... and my gf is german... i would be visiting her this october. but then which visa could i apply for.. i would like to stay there about a months time... giv me some usel info.. this is my first time out of country Travel Tips On entry they will allow you to stay for 3 months in Schenegen states which include Germany. Apply for a visa at the German Embassy. You will need invitation from the person who you will meet in Germany, proof of sufficient finances to stay there and an overseas medical insurance policy. Others Tourist visas usually last 90 days. Contact the German consulate nearest you. I'm a Russian, my husband is an Indian. So when he used to visit me, when i was in Russia, i used to make the special invitation for the period of time he planned to stay in the country. Then he applied for a tourist visa in the Russian embassy, and they used to give him a one-time-entry tourist visa for the particular period of time (which was written in the invitation). Of course, for the information, you should visit the web-site of the Germany embassy in India, or better go there and speak to them. They will explain you everything. Best of luck! |
