What is the best way to travel from Delhi airport to ISBT bus stand? |
Travel Info My flight reaches delhi airport at 6:15 p.m. and my bus is scheduled to leave from ISBT at 8:30p.m . I 've got 2 hours in between. what is the best way to travel from airport to ISBT? Travel Tips Thyagu, given the very short time interval during peak hours, I would recommend that you take a taxi to go straight to Central Secretariate Metro rail station from Delhi airport; the route for this should be through Dhaula Kuan and Wellingdon crescent. Take the Metro rail train from Central secretariate to ISBT (kashmere gate station) and this train will transit through some of the most congested traffic (if you went by road!) very easily and in time for your departure plans out of ISBT. All the best; pray that your flight arrives in Delhi on time and that you get out of the airport speedily. (encourage you to take only carry-on baggage) and get a seat right in the front so that you can disembark and reach the exit gates without any delay. If you are not certain about the time needed and you have checked in baggage, you may very well be cutting it too fine and have the distinct possibility of missing the bus out of ISBT; you might as well plan an alternate route; e.g. if you are going northward to Chandigarh/simla/Dehradun/Hari... etc., you could get a late night train out of Delhi with booking confirmed; (some of these trains leave around 11 pm) and that way you will play it very safe. All the best. Others take a prepaid auto or taxi |
