Travel Info I would be visiting copenhagen- Denmark and would like to see something exclusive. any suggestions?? Travel Tips Hi Vishwa V. If you by exclusive mean something interesting, worth seeing, particular Danish, but not just the average tourist attraction that everyone goes to, here's my suggestions (in no particular order): Rud Rasmussen / Denmark (www.rudrasmussen.dk Site in English). Unique Danish handcrafted furniture in the danish design tradition. Shop/factory located in interesting Latin quarter-like neighborhood (Noerrebro), not far from city, but not where tourist usually go. Great caf茅s etc. Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (http://www.louisiana.dk/default.asp?cont... Site in English) Located outside Copenhagen, though. Even if you are only slightly interested in art, this is worth going to for the reason of it's location; next to the sea, and forrets with beatiful architecture. Nice 20 min train trip from Copenhagen. Can be a bit crowded in weekends. Christiania, a partially self-governing neighborhood i Copenhagen. (http://www.christiania.org/main/lan.php?... Site in English) If you go there, go by foot. Should take about 15 min from center of Copenhagen. That way you will come by/through some interesting parts and sights of the city. You don't write what your interests are. Personally I like to go to neighborhoods with an interesting "mood", particular for the region, and just absorb it and wach peoble go by from a caf茅. If you like that too, check out Noerrebro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/n%c3%b8rreb... in particular Inner Noerrebro), and Vesterbro (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/vesterbro)... Enjoy your trip! PS: Check out http://www.visitcopenhagen.com/... An official tourist site. Or www.denmark.dk The official Danish site. Booring, but with some important and usefull info. Source(s): www.rudrasmussen.dk www.louisiana.dk www.christiania.org en.wikipedia.org Born and raised in Denmark. Live in Cph. Other Travel Tips http://www.copenhagendenmark.com... check out the website and read about were your going then pick your choice of interest left click on tourist attractions Rachel There is Tivoligarden - The queens many castles - G氓gaden/Str酶get - Kristiania - Louisiana museum . Have fun! Stay away from the Little Mermaid. Great design is omnipresent in Denmark. Even a suburban McDonalds are well designed. The CPH airport is well design. From there, be sure to take the train to the central city. You can also simply exit the airport and walk. However, it will take a few hours. You can rent bicycles at most train stations in the city. That is a great way to get around the city and see exclusive sites that others may miss. The above poster had plenty of great postings of plenty of popular places to see.
