What are good cities to fly to on the way to copenhagen? |
Travel Info going to copenhagen for the second time for business, so my family and i want to fly to another city, spend 3-4 days, then fly back out of copenhagen Travel Tips If you are flying in from the US or UK, Amsterdam, Berlin or Prague would be the most suitable; easy air transportation, similar climate and social atmosphere including something for your family (wife & children). Topographically Amsterdam resembles Copenhagen the most; culturally Berlin and historically (middle ages) Prague. If you are driving from somewhere on the continent then it depends upon which direction you are coming from. Nevertheless Amsterdam is always a cozy three day stop over; otherwise Nurnberg or Oslo. My fiance's parents went to Berlin for a holiday weekend just the other day. There's lots of interesting things there By Car you can reach Malm枚 Sweden in 1 hour, Gothemburg Sweden in 2 hours, Hamburg, Germany in 3 hours, Berlin in 5 hours, These nice cities are not worth flying. Flying I would choose St Petersburg Russia, Helsinki or Tampere Finland, Prague Czek or Tallin Estonia all direct flights of less than 2 hours. Have a good trip Live in Scandinavia |
