If you are a United States citizen, do you require a visa to go to Denmark? Are there any other papers needed?

Travel Tips
The first answer is ABSOLUTELY incorrect!! A citizen of the United States does NOT need a visa to travel to Denmark, nor any other EU (European Union) country for that matter.

Everyone under 60 speaks English, the beer is great, the women are independent but the weather lousey. Either you'll love it here or you'll leave soon enough. Source(s): 40 years Danish experience

No visa is required if you plan on staying for less than 3 months. Otherwise, then you need it.
