Travel Info Can anybody tell me what is open in Copenhagen, Denmark on Christmas Eve and/or Day? Travel Tips I have to agree. I lived in Denmark for about 18 months. spent two Christmas times there. The Danes really enjoy spending Christmas with thier familys. However if you can be there for New Years They have some rip roaring partys!!!! Others Just about nothing is the answer. I lived there for nine months. Their Xmas day is Christmas eve when all the family spend time together and open the presents etc.Just about everywhere shuts down. They used to keep 8%of your wages every month and you could claim it all at Xmas. Even the main tourist attractions are closed.Tivoli closes at 20.00 on the 23rd December and is closed on the 24th and 25th December. This is true of all pubs,museums etc. |
