What is the quickest route from Hamburg to Copenhagen?

Travel Tips
It's actually quite easy -- a straight diagonal line between Hamburg and Copenhagen: ride the Autobahn A1 or E47 from Hamburg in northeasterly direction via L眉beck to the ferryboat at Puttgarden. The ferryboats sail every 45 minutes and take about 50 minutes to cross. Once on the danish side the Autobahn E47, now called *motorvej* in danish, will take you after 155 kilometres (about 100 miles) right to Copenhagen. The total distance is 206.48 miles (365 km) and should take +/- 5 hours depending on the ferry.

A little tip: when approaching Copenhagen follow the signs for *Copenhagen-C.* (direction Airport, Sweden). This is the easiest, fastest and most scenic route. Have a nice ride, but watch the weather depending on the time of year ...icy right now. Source(s): Took the trip many times
