Travel Info what the people are like. are they friendly. im newly single and i'd like to know what the men are like? Travel Tips hello and welcome to denmark, her's a couple of things danes are friendly and polite but very private people, they won't interfere with your life but they would expect that you don't interfere with them- and they don't open up easily. u can meet all types just like anywhere else. danes don't have too many prejudices regarding race, sex, nationality, religion and i'm sure you manage to find your way around. 90 % of the people speak english well but if you're to look for a job, danish would be required ( unless you are working for a big corporation where english is a corporate language ) i live in copenhagen, and it took me a while to find friends here, but some say that it's actually easier in smaller feel free to e-mail me if you have any specific questions regarding denmark. just send a mail through Y!Answers. Others Good luck ^_^! I'm hoping to move to denmark this fall. My fiance is danish and all his friends are really nice and great people. I think most people in denmark are very polite, but they are also very honest. They don't have hangups about not telling people exactly what they think like we have in other countries. Most lifestyles are openly accepted there as well. (They are also more sexually open and so multiple partners in Denmark is very common for a lot of people, so be sure to use protection!!)
