Frederikshavn or Fredrikshavn? |
Travel Info We are printing t-shirts for an event held in Frederikshavn / Fredrikshavn, Denmark, but we can't figure out which one of these two is the official name of the city. We don't want to be walking around wearing t-shirts with a wrong name printed on them. So how is it written; Frederikshavn or Fredrikshavn? Travel Tips First answer is correct. Additional evidence: http://www.frederikshavn.dk/da/menu/... Frederikshavn Kommune (city) official webpage. If you are a native English speaker, say "fwed-duh-licks-hown" alltogether really quickly-- if you want to sound like a foreigner at least attempting a nearly impossible language! |
