What is Copenhagen like to visit?

Is it expensive, clean, friendly, diverting, easy to get to, worth the trip? I have spent a lot of time in Germany, but never gone North of Hamburg.

Copenhagen is a wonderful place to visit and definitely worth a trip. I used to live there and still try to visit whenever I can.

While the city is expensive, it is clean and easy to get around. People are friendly and enjoy using their English - just about everyone will speak English well.

I would definitely recommend going in the spring or summer, because the winter can be quite cold and rainy. Also, Tivoli is open in the summer and, in my opinion, this is the best attraction in Copenhagen. You also much go to Nyhavn for a beer and some people watching and visit the little mermaid. If you have time, I would highly recommend a side trip to either Legoland or Skagen.
