Travel Info I want to move from Maui to Colorado- where can I move and still be near H2O (lake, river, etc)? Travel Tips If you are moving to the western slope, the Colorado River gives you some water, otherwise there are rivers and small streams throughout Colorado. Nothing in comparison to an ocean as the biggest lakes are man made. If you had a choice of where to live, I like Golden, there is a river that runs through town, it is a little higher than Denver and closer to hte mountains as well. Others I did the opposite. Moved from CO to HI. There is nothing resembling what you know as water in Colorado. Don't fool yourself into seeing water on a map as looking like water in HI. The lakes amount to nothing more than a big hole in the ground filled with water. If you need a job, don't let water dictate wher you live. If you take a job in Denver there's great mountian getaways within an hour or so of town. I know an hour in any car is more than most locals can handle, but it's worth it to get out of town. Email me if you have questions about Colorado. shortbusryders@yahoo.com My brain...again. MOVE TO FT. COLLINS....YOU'LL THANK ME LATER |
