some really help out and some don't. When there is a blizzard that can make skiing more appealing because people know there is fresh snow.

Things like hurricanes, tornados, and tsuamni's don't really help out tourism becuase people are a little more scared to go to those areas.

Well the tsunami in asia wiped out many tourist attractions there as well as it took many, many lives with it and it will be a while before those poor people can rebuild. It depends on how likely the event is to happen again. I certainly wouldn't park my camper on a fault line and New Orleans! Oh my God! So much has been destroyed there that it's going to take a lot of time and money to restore that once historical and beautiful place so tourism is definitely going to lessen until they rebuild. I think once these place rebuild that there is a chance that the tourism will pick up again. God bless those who have been victims of Katrina, the Earthquakes in Pakistan, the Tsunami victims and anyone else that has suffered such a tragedy.
