Are there many community things to get involved with around Boulder?

Travel Info
I'm moving outside Boulder in August of 2006. I have friends and some family scattered through Colorado, but I'd like to meet a lot of new people. Has anyone else moved to the Boulder/Denver area, and was it a good experience?

Travel Tips
Hello, CU, major campus. It'll be fun.

Everyone is a health nut. You can bike, hike, ski, swim. People and scenery are just beautiful. For the most part, people are so friendly. You may get out of state students who don't really get Boulder culture, but eventualy they adapt or get turned into a hippie.

Just be werry of the Hippies out there. Hippies just arn't right in the head. Plus they use that puja oil which enhances their body oder. To top that off, they don't shower except once a week. Plus they've very hypacritical; I don't eat meat 'cas it hurts animal, but they're dressed in leather. What a joke.
