Travel Info What are the rules for me living in the USA? I mean, if i couldnt get a green card, how long would i be able to stay there before having to return home and then how long would it be until i could return? Travel Tips Hey dude, I had the same question at the end of December - I just said "to Hell With It" and came over.... you get 90 days without needing a visa, but you can use that time to get one sorted. It doesn't allow you to work, so make sure you've either got enough money to survive or that she's got a good enough job to support you ;-) Once here you could either apply for a work visa, or if you find you do actually want to spend your foreseeable future together, you can propose and then apply for a fiancee visa. If she earns less than 20k she may not be able to prove that she can provide for you with the latter though. You'll find it a bit different, but it isn't too bad at all. Not many Brits that I can find though ;-) Good luck, and I hope it brings you what you want. Others I know a guy who came from Kenya and all he has is a work visa, he's been here for like 6 or 7 years now. You could also get married. Tell Denver to move; experinece life Depends on if you麓re moving over there for good? Are you? And how serious are you two? Marriage? If you can麓t get a work visa the tourist visa lets you (legally) stay in the US for 3 months ( or 90 days). |
