Moving to Denver? |
Travel Info I'm a 20 year old moving to Denver and am completely unfamiliar with the area. Where is a good place to look for apartments (the cheaper the better but a good area is most important). What areas in Denver need to be avoided? Travel Tips Best place for 20somethings is central denver in cap hill. Its not the best area in town but its not the worst either. Stay away from arvada and aurora near central highschool. Better areas are Aurora near the Aurora Mall, Littleton (though not teh best location), Highlands Ranch (expensive and on the outskirts of town). Source(s): researcher- findforu.com (denver resident) Other Travel Tips If you are more into the night life I would suggest living closer to downtown, but you wil pay more then. Other areas I would suggest would be Lakewood, Littleton, or Aurora. These area's are a little cheaper but and you can easily get downtown if you want to hang out downtown on weekend nights. I would avoid Commerece City and Thornton. These aren't the "nicest" areas. South Denver is a little more expensive to live in and are really more "family" areas. These area's are Parker, Highlands Ranch, and South Littleton (near Columbine High School). I hope this helps you out. Good luck! |
